A summer event that dispels the heat and evil spirits with the sound of wind chimes all over the precincts. You can also donate wind chimes.

Gion is performed on a designated date, where the traditional Japanese dance is passed down from generation to generation. There is also a Japanese Heritage Guide and a one-way shuttle service to JR Izumo City Station.

Hirata Honjin Memorial Hall
About 150 pictures of cats living in the climate of all over Japan will be exhibited. A talk and autograph session are scheduled for September 19. The museum is closed on Tuesdays, but it will be open on September 22 and November 3. Admission is until 4:30 p.m.
